Obagi NU-GEN™ Cellular Renewal Serum is Obagi's first entry into longevity-focused skincare — a next-generation anti-aging treatment built around the brand's proprietary AGE CTRL™ Complex. Rather than correcting one issue at a time the way a retinoid or acid does, this serum works upstream, at the cellular level, by replenishing NAD+ — a coenzyme every skin cell relies on for energy, DNA repair, and collagen maintenance that naturally declines with age. Obagi reports the formula is clinically shown to visibly improve all nine recognized hallmarks of skin aging, including uneven tone, fine lines, sagging, dullness, redness, texture, and barrier strength. Lightweight, non-comedogenic, and gentle enough for twice-daily use, it's designed to be layered into any routine — pairing well with Vitamin C in the morning and retinol at night.

How To Use
Apply as the first active step after cleansing and toning, before heavier treatments or moisturizer. Dispense a small amount and smooth evenly over face and neck. Use morning and evening; follow with Vitamin C and SPF in the AM, or a retinol treatment in the PM.
Key ingredients
- NAD+ (Coenzyme) — a cellular energy molecule that declines with age; replenishing it supports repair, resilience, and collagen maintenance
- NMN (Nicotinamide Mononucleotide) — a direct NAD+ precursor that helps boost cellular NAD+ levels
- Niacinamide (Vitamin B3/NAM) — works synergistically with NAD+ and NMN to support the skin's natural longevity pathways
